Festive Plaid Pop-outs Kit Part 2

Last week I shared my Facebook Live creating the Christmas tree cards and gift tags using the beautiful Festive Plaid Pop-Outs Kit from Stampin’ Up!

Today I’m back with another set of projects from this kit, and this time we’re playing with the circle designs!

I had so much fun creating the first set that I decided to record another video to show you how I put together the remaining cards and tags. It’s lovely to see how the same kit can give you different looks while keeping everything coordinated.

Creating the Circle Cards and Tags

For this video, I’ve pre-recorded the project so you can craft along with me whenever it suits you.

I’ll take you through creating the circle cards and coordinating tags, using the clever pop-out pieces included in the kit.

Just like the Christmas tree designs, the circle elements make great use of the pieces that pop out of the card fronts. Rather than letting those pieces go to waste, they’re used to decorate the gift tags!

I love a kit that makes the most of every little piece.

Two Videos, Lots of Christmas Projects!

Between the two videos, I’ve shared both sets of designs included in the kit. It’s a lovely way to see all the possibilities and get plenty of inspiration for your own Christmas crafting.

The kit makes 10 cards and 10 coordinating tags, with five of each of the two designs. It includes the printed card bases and envelopes, precut pieces, gold foil accents, twine, adhesive and instructions – so there’s very little preparation needed before you start creating.

Getting Ready for Christmas

With Christmas getting closer, it’s a great time to start preparing those handmade cards and gift tags. Having them ready means one less thing to think about when the busy festive season arrives!

I’m getting into the Christmas crafting spirit with the gorgeous Festive Plaid Pop-Outs Kit from Stampin’ Up!

This kit is such a clever idea because it gives you everything you need to create both Christmas cards and coordinating gift tags. I love that you can make a lovely collection of handmade Christmas projects without having to spend ages cutting and preparing all the pieces.

For today’s projects, I’m sharing the first set of cards and tags, featuring the adorable Christmas tree designs.

Creating Christmas Tree Cards and Tags

I recently jumped on Facebook Live and had lots of fun putting these projects together. In the video, I take you through creating the Christmas tree cards and their coordinating tags, showing how all the pieces come together.

The pop-out design of this kit is particularly clever. The pieces that are removed from the card fronts are used to decorate the tags, while the spaces left behind create a lovely peek-through detail on the cards.

It’s a great way to make the most of all the pieces in the kit!

Floral Promenade Kit

The Floral Promenade Kit is a beautiful way to create floral handmade cards, and I recently featured it during my Friday Facebook Live.

What made this project extra fun was seeing how many cards I could create by using the original kit. The kit was designed to make 8 cards, with 4 each of 2 designs, but I managed to create 12 cards in total!

I love finding ways to get more from my crafting supplies, and this was a great opportunity to mix the kit with some of my favourite Stampin’ Up! products.

I’ve uploaded my Facebook Live replay to YouTube so you can watch the process and see how I created these cards.

In the video, I share the cards I made and show how I used additional cardstock, ink, stamps and dies to extend the original kit. Look at all those beautiful floral cards! I love the combination of the pretty flower designs, the neutral kraft-style backgrounds and the bold sentiments.

The original kit provides a wonderful starting point, but by adding a few extra supplies, I was able to create more variety in the layouts and make 12 cards instead of the 8 included in the kit.

Behind the Scenes of the June ProCRAFTinators Retreat

People often see the finished retreat, but there’s a lot of preparation that happens behind the scenes before attendees arrive.

From planning projects and organising supplies to creating welcome gifts and personalised boxes, every detail is designed to help attendees enjoy a fun and relaxing crafting weekend.

Preparing the welcome gifts is always one of my favourite jobs. It’s a chance to add a personal touch and show appreciation for everyone who has chosen to spend their weekend crafting with us.

The June ProCRAFTinators Retreat was filled with creativity, laughter and wonderful memories, and I’m already looking forward to the next one.

Handmade Packaging Ideas for Retreat Gifts

I love finding simple ways to elevate everyday gifts with Handmade Packaging Ideas for Retreat Gifts.

For our June ProCRAFTinators Retreat, I used several Stampin’ Up! products to decorate practical gifts and transform them into something a little more special.

The hand warmers were decorated using the Simply Leaves Bundle, while the chocolate packs featured the Exciting Times Bundle.

These projects are a great reminder that you don’t need elaborate packaging to create a memorable gift. A simple stamped tag, wrap or embellishment can completely transform a store-bought item.
