I’m getting into the Christmas crafting spirit with the gorgeous Festive Plaid Pop-Outs Kit from Stampin’ Up!

This kit is such a clever idea because it gives you everything you need to create both Christmas cards and coordinating gift tags. I love that you can make a lovely collection of handmade Christmas projects without having to spend ages cutting and preparing all the pieces.

For today’s projects, I’m sharing the first set of cards and tags, featuring the adorable Christmas tree designs.

Creating Christmas Tree Cards and Tags

I recently jumped on Facebook Live and had lots of fun putting these projects together. In the video, I take you through creating the Christmas tree cards and their coordinating tags, showing how all the pieces come together.

The pop-out design of this kit is particularly clever. The pieces that are removed from the card fronts are used to decorate the tags, while the spaces left behind create a lovely peek-through detail on the cards.

It’s a great way to make the most of all the pieces in the kit!
