  • Behind the Scenes of the June ProCRAFTinators Retreat

    People often see the finished retreat, but there’s a lot of preparation that happens behind the scenes before attendees arrive.

    From planning projects and organising supplies to creating welcome gifts and personalised boxes, every detail is designed to help attendees enjoy a fun and relaxing crafting weekend.

    Preparing the welcome gifts is always one of my favourite jobs. It’s a chance to add a personal touch and show appreciation for everyone who has chosen to spend their weekend crafting with us.

  • Handmade Packaging Ideas for Retreat Gifts

    I love finding simple ways to elevate everyday gifts with Handmade Packaging Ideas for Retreat Gifts.

    For our June ProCRAFTinators Retreat, I used several Stampin’ Up! products to decorate practical gifts and transform them into something a little more special.

    The hand warmers were decorated using the Simply Leaves Bundle, while the chocolate packs featured the Exciting Times Bundle.

  • Cosy Retreat Gifts for a Winter Crafting Weekend

    Since our June retreat was held during winter, I wanted to include a few Cosy Retreat Gifts for a Winter Crafting Weekend to help everyone settle in for a relaxing crafting weekend.

    The fluffy socks were wrapped using the Simply Leaves Bundle and paired beautifully with a decorated hot chocolate pack featuring the Lily of the Valley Stamp Set.

    These little touches don’t take long to create but add something special to the retreat experience.

    One of my goals is always to create an environment where attendees can relax, craft and enjoy spending time with fellow members of our crafting community.

  • Creating the Retreat Gift Boxes

    For the June ProCRAFTinators Retreat, each attendee received a personalised 12″ x 12″ storage box filled with crafting goodies. I love Creating the Retreat Gift Boxes for each attendee as I love to spoil my community.

    I started with a scrapbook storage case and customised the lid with patterned paper and each attendee’s name. The storage case I purchased from Kmart. I always include some challenges and this month one of our challenges was surrounding the Two Toned Card Stock and a sanding block. I enjoyed this challenge and what everyone came up with.

    Inside each box were:

    • Designer Series Paper
    • Coordinating embellishments
    • Black die-cut pieces

    All of the products were from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite from Stampin’ Up!

    I love creating gifts that attendees can continue to use long after the retreat has finished, and these storage boxes are perfect for organising crafting supplies and projects.

  • Welcome Gifts for the ProCRAFTinators Retreat

    One of my favourite parts of hosting a ProCRAFTinators Retreat is preparing the welcome gifts for attendees.

    I love creating thoughtful gifts that make everyone feel special from the moment they arrive. For our June retreat, each attendee received a collection of handmade and carefully selected goodies designed to make their crafting weekend even more enjoyable.

    Welcome Gifts for the ProCRAFTinators Retreat

    The gifts included:

    • A decorated hot chocolate pack
    • A pair of cosy fluffy socks
    • A pack of hand warmers
    • A chocolate treat pack

    Each item was decorated using beautiful Stampin’ Up! products, creating a coordinated and welcoming gift collection.

    Seeing the smiles when attendees discover their gifts is always one of the highlights of retreat weekend.

  • Splash of Sparkle Designer Series Paper

    Today I’m sharing another fun set of handmade cards featuring the beautiful Splash of Sparkle Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!.

    For these projects, I created 6 cards in total — 2 each of 3 different designs. This is such a great way to make the most of your designer series paper while creating multiple cards quickly and easily.

    The Splash of Sparkle Designer Series Paper adds so much colour, texture and interest to your projects, making it perfect for simple card layouts that still look stunning. I love how easy these designs are to recreate while still giving you plenty of opportunities to customise them with your favourite sentiments and embellishments.

    I also created two video options for these projects:

    • A shorter sped-up version if you’d prefer a quick overview and fast inspiration
