Artfully Layered Bundle

The Artfully Layered Bundle jumped out at me as soon as I saw it. I love the greenery in the paper and the dies are just to die for, pardon the pun. This is also my first class for the year which will be held on Thursday 17th February at 10am. You can email me for more details or click on this link.

The Designer Series Paper is so lovely that it does a lot of the work for you when you’re creating your projects. This suite would also go well with the Paradise Palms Bundle

Artfully Layered Bundle Cards

Each Friday I have been doing a facebook friday live and on the 31st December I am showcasing these cards, however I did create some quicker cards on the live. I also upload the video to youtube. I have been enjoying the facebook lives and it has helped me with my creativity.
Which version of the cards would you like to re-create? I show these cards above at about the 6 minute mark on the video if you wish to skip ahead.

Junk Journal

A couple of weeks ago I saw a video on youtube on how to make a junk journal. I hadn’t heard of them before so I watched a couple of videos. Then I saw a video that used an old Readers Digest book cover to create a junk journal. My Dad had dozens of them when I was growing up and wondered if he still had them. So I called him and asked and he did, however they weren’t the books I had originally thought of, they were older than I remember. In fact the have so much more character than I had remembered.

I created this Journal using old pages from notebooks, some DSP and the book cover from the Readers Digest. I threaded some bakers twine through the sheets of paper to create a book and then added memorabilia to it. These photos of the finished project with out additional items and photos in it.

I am holding a class this week on how to make them. My classes are Friday 28th at 10am and Saturday 29th 10am. If you’d like to join me you can see more details on my facebook page or click on this link.

This is one of the videos that I saw originally which inspired me to create a Junk Journal
