At the recent Stamp Camp by Marelle, there were 10 shoeboxes to do if we chose to. I completed all 10 boxes and here is one using the Spotlight on Nature stamp set and coordinating dies.
We used the thoughtful Designs specialty Designer Series Paper. I love this paper and there are so many different colour options if you use this paper. We coloured in the flowers and butterfly using blends. And then added some pearls to the card.
The Spotlight on Nature Stamp set is a lovely versatile set that I love. When we went to our Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event in March we had the opportunity to attend an optional class and choose from one of 3 bundles. The Spotlight on Nature Bundle is what I chose. The bundle includes the stamp set and a die set. The die set is made up of circles with varying intricacies around the edging of each die all in various sizes.
During my Facebook Live on Friday I created a set of 5 cards. I had an idea of what I was going to do for two of the cards but then the other 3 I was unsure. For two of the cards, I had pulled out an old old card kit that I had made up and used the card base and layers from that card kit.
Using minimal supplies is always great as we don’t always have EVERYTHING in our crafting stash. These cards are quite super simple, however I did use a blending brush on all the cards in some form. If you don’t already have blending brushes in your stash, you really should add them to your wish list as they are fabulous to play with and be creative with.
Yesterday I was playing with the Share a Milkshake Bundle on my Facebook Live. Well let me say I had a bit of a morning with Technology. I forgot turn on my microphone! 🤦♀️Well thankfully a dear friend commented that she couldn’t hear me. In my defence I did turn a mic on it just wasn’t the one I should have turned on.
Anyway, the show must go on as they say. So I kept going and created 3 cards. I had 5 to make but only got the three. These cards were inspired by many different people. The first one in the Fresh Fresia (top Right) was inspired by Stamp with Brian. He used Balmy blue but I chose to mix it up and do it in Fresh Fresia instead. The Designer Series Paper I used is one you can earn during Sale-a-bration and you only have about 6 days left to earn it for free. Its called Delightfully Eclectic.
The second one (the bottom card) was inspired by Amy Koenders from a year ago. I again changed up the colours and just cut the rectangles rather than using dies but I like it. And the third card (the top left) was inspired by Stampin’ Up! This card was part of the samples that their design team created. Below is my facebook Live video but you can also check out my short video on my youtube channel.
Create glittering birthday cards and gift tags with the Birthday Sparkle Kit! This kit includes six cards and six gift tags. Create each project with the included stamp set, die-cut paper pieces, and twine. It also includes other elements such as glitter stickers, pressed wood picks, coordinating envelopes, and gold foil paper pieces! It’s easy to create each project for your recipient or get ahead on your crafting for the year by making quick multiples. Either way, you’ve got a special paper craft that your recipients will love!
When I was looking at this kit before I went live I had a thought that I could make one of the cards into a shaker card. And that is exactly what I did with 2 of the cards. I kept one the same but I added some window sheet, strips of dimensionals and some shaker embellishments and created shaker cards. You can see the shaker elements in the image below. I’m so very pleased with how they turned out. What do you think? Will you create shaker cards with this kit too?
You can check out my facebook live video below where I showcase the Birthday Sparkle Kit and create the shaker cards.
Welcome to our February Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #63. You may have joined me from Marelle Taylor or you may be starting right here with me. Either way, welcome to our blog hop for this month. I hope this hop inspires you to get into your craft room and get creating.
This months challenge is a Tick Tack Toe. The idea is that we choose a row and use the three boxes to create our project. I chose to go diagonally with Designer Series Paper, Dies &/or Punches & Ribbon or Twine.
I chose to use the Lighter than Air Suite Collection. Using the Lighter than Air DSP, The Hot Air Balloon Bundle & the Bakers Twine Three Colour Pack.
What do you think of my card for the February Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #63
The Trusty Tools Bundle includes the Trusty Tools Stamp Set and the Trusty Tools Dies.
We all have people in our life who deserve recognition! The stamps, sentiments, and dies in this bundle fit nicely together to make fun masculine projects. Make cards, tags, home decor, and more with colourful tool pieces that stand out, and let people know how much you appreciate them!
Recognize the builders in your life using the Trusty Tools Dies. Create a pegboard as a card background or make a toolbox on a card front, then add a range of die-cut tools hanging on the board or coming out of the box. You can also use the die-cut tool designs separately as accents to embellish your projects. Pair with the sentiment of your choice to celebrate husbands, dads, brothers, and others who have your heart!
The Notes of Nature Bundle includes the Notes of Nature Stamp Set and the Notes of Nature Dies.
Create cards and other paper projects with a natural feel with the stamps and dies in this bundle. Stamp an image, then quickly cut it out with the coordinating die. It’s quick, easy, and beautiful!
I created these beautiful cards during my recent facebook live. One of the cards was cased from the mini catalogue. And one card was cased from Clair Daly in Melbourne. I changed it up slightly but you can definitely still see where it was inspired from.
You can check out my quick video below and I also have my longer facebook live video that you can watch linked from this video.
