The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is such a lovely set that you will get so much inspiration from it and will want to snap it up in no time. I have used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle of the stamp set and punch and also used the Dandy Garden 6×6 DSP. These were designed by the Stampin’ Up! team and I enjoyed making these cards. Using all the same products and sized card stock pieces for each card. We’ve just flipped the layout.
I have two more card sets to share with you over the coming weeks. Let me know what you think of this bundle and if it is on your wishlist. You can also see some of the other products that are in this suite at this post. Below are some samples from the January to June Mini Catalogue.
Today is the day that the January to June Mini Catalogue has been released! New catalogue release day is always an exciting day as we get to see all the new products that have been released for us to get our hands on. And there are some amazing products in this catalogue. Not only is the January to June Mini Catalogue released but so is the Sale-a-bration Catalogue which also starts today until the 28th February. It is shorter this year but get another SAB in the middle of the year to make up for it.
During Sale-a-bration you get a gift with purchase when you spend $90. There are many choices of stamps and paper that you can choose from. Just check out the Sale-a-bration catalogue to see all the things that you’d like to receive FREE.
Butterfly Wishes is what I am sharing today with you and this gorgeous card. I have matched this stamp with Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam & Crumb Cake ink. Adding the extra texture to the card with the 3 types of ribbon adds to the card.
When I create my classes I always have left over kits and this is one of the kits I had left over so I wanted to create extra cards. Using Very Vanilla also softens the card.
I will continue to use up all the excess card kits that I have and I am hoping to use all current stamp sets to do so. Tomorrow is the last day to be able to order from the Giant Year End Close Out.
We are in the last days of the Retiring Products – Giant Year End Close Out. Now that we are in January, we only have a couple more days with some of the gorgeous products from the August to December Mini Catalogue as there are so many Retiring Products on the Giant Year End Closeout that finishes on the 4th January.
I mentioned in my post yesterday I was going to share some of the retiring products and here are a couple of cards I made using some products that are saying goodbye.
In both of these cards I have used the Tag Buffet Stamp Set and some blends to colour in the ornament and the stocking. I also used the gorgeous Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. Both the papers and the stamp set are retiring. The Tag Buffet stamp set is reduced by 20% till the 4th January so its a great time to get your hands on this stamp set. The colours in this paper are just so stunning together and I am really going to miss this paper. I have stocked up on it so I will be able to use it again. If there are items that you’ll miss once they’re gone then get to shopping now and buy those things before they’re gone for good.
Happy New Year! everyone. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. It is a new year and I am truly thankful for the new year that we hope to have. Wasn’t 2020 an interesting year for all of us but I’m praying for a prosperous and happy new for us.
Today I wanted to share with you some new products that will be released on the 5th January and is in the brand new January to June Mini Catalogue. These products make creating cards really quick and simple. They are the Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack and the Dandy Garden Memories & More Cards and Envelopes packs. I’ve paired these two products with the Dandy Garden 6×6″ Paper Stack and the coordinating Dragonflies Punch. All these products are from the Dandy Garden Suite. And there are a number of other gorgeous products that are in this suite but I’ll share them with you a bit later on in the month.
If you have shopped with me in the last 13 months then you should have recieved or will recieve a package from me with the two catalogues that will be released in just a few short days. And so if you’d like a copy of these catalogues, then let me know and I can pop them in the post for you. I so appreciate when you shop with me and I like to post out a little thank you gift to show my appreciation.
Tomorrow I want to share with you some products that will be retiring on the 4th January. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Welcome to the December Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #25. You may have joined me from Melissa’s Blog or you have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is an Anything Goes Challenge. It sounds like it would be an easy challenge but it can get tricky when you have so many things that you want to play with and so little time to play.
I have been creating some decor items recently for a couple of Mother Daughter classes coming up in January so I wanted to share those with you today.
One item is just using card stock and an older paper technique, Quilling. I started by creating a heart shape and then chose the colours. I wanted to have an ombre effect which I think has been achieved. After using my bone folder to break the fibres in the card I curled them up into spirals. Using hot glue I stuck the swirls onto the outline of the heart that I had drawn on the 12×12 card. Adding some Linen Thread around the outside of the heart finishes off the main part of the project.
Using the Butterfly Duet to punch out some butterflies in the three colours and in some vellum and overlayed the card with the vellum. I added some pearls to the middle of the butterflies and stuck them on with glue dots.
The second project I made was a sampler for another Mother Daughter class. This project I did use some of the retired large letter alphabet but felt it did need these letters for the “Thankful”. I also used the Beautiful Moments stamp set and the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper.
I also paired these products with the butterfly duet punch. In the upcoming January to June Mini Catalogue are some new blending brushes in packs of 3 so I pulled them out and used them to do some blending with the ink on two panels. I used the Blends to colour in the mother and daughter and the two girls in the top left corner. In the top right corner I plan to have a photo of the mother and daughter.

Welcome to the November Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #24. You may have joined me from Melissa’s Blog or you have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a layout Challenge. The stamp set Butterfly Wishes was on my desk when I came to create so I decided to use this old favourite for my card. I chose to use Blushing Bride, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake & Rococo Rose. Choosing to use the scallop circle in Soft Sea Foam brought the colours together.
I find that adding texture in the form of ribbon softens the card and I was able to add 3 types of ribbon including the Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Rococo Rose and the Braided Linen Trim. I finished off the card by adding some basic rhinestones for some bling.
Now don’t stop here, you can continue onto the next blog by clicking the Next Blog button or by clicking the button below for Elizabeth’s Blog. I hope you enjoy the November Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #24 and all the creativity as these ladies have some amazing talent.
