January Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #38

Welcome to our January Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #38. Have you joined me from Elizabeth’s Blog or are you starting right here? Either way, welcome.

This months Blog Hop is an “Anything Goes” challenge. Which, in and of itself, is fairly easy until you look at ALL the products we have and I need to narrow them all down and choose only a few products.

I decided to go with some more product from the January to June Mini Catalogue that has only been out for a bit over a week The “In the Moment” set is absolutely gorgeous and I was so happy to see it in my goodie bag for our Demonstrator OnStage event in November last year. Can you believe that this is the first time I’m inking it up? Neither can I but here you go. In the end I created a couple of frames on each of the cards. I didn’t like the layering effect with the image sitting on top of mat so I created the frame effect instead and cut out a window on the vanilla layer, then a smaller window on the pool party layer and then glued the image underneath. Creating the mat for the frame felt like it lifted the images more.

My Cards

Here are both cards using the In The Moment Stamp Set.

I’ve created a quick little video showing how I coloured in the images. I don’t show the full creative process as it changed from what I had intended to what you see above. Do you find that you change up your designs mid way through?

Stamp Camp – Robyn’s Shoebox

Sharing today a card from Stamp Camp – Robyn’s ShoeBox. At Stamp Camp we usually have shoeboxes that have all the items to create the card in the box. But this year with all the restrictions in place in Sydney we were unable to hold the retreat live so Marelle posted a type of Stamp Camp in a box where we had the elements to create the cards but needed to use our own stamp sets.

I used the Painted Poppies stamp set on this card. The idea of Robyn’s Shoebox is to use bleach to colour in the poppies. I needed to go searching for my bleach as I don’t have it in the house very often. The card base is the shimmery white card stock which is so lovely.

I’m going to continue to share more shoebox cards from Stamp camp over the coming weeks. You can purchase all these items from my online store shop.stampinwithsharon.com.au

Stamp Camp – Marelle’s ShoeBox

Sharing today a card from Stamp Camp – Marelle’s ShoeBox.

I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set on this card. The other Evening Evergreen card front was already dry embossed using the Macrame 3D Embossing folder and all I needed to do was cut out the pot plant and stamp on the circle. It really is a lovely card and I love the lattice sheet to add a lovely element to the card.

I’m going to continue to share more shoebox cards from Stamp camp over the coming weeks. You can purchase all these items from my online store shop.stampinwithsharon.com.au

October Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #35

Welcome to the October Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #35. This month’s blog hop is a colour challenge. You may have landed her from Melissa’s Blog or you may have started here. You will be able to continue to the blog hop by clicking on any of the links below or by clicking on the Next button which will take you to the next blog.

The creative juices were flowing and so I created 2 cards this month. Both cards I used the Color & Contour Stamp set. The inspiration for the first card came from Beth McCullough using blending brushes to create the background and masking off sections of the card each time to create a line and an ombre effect. The Basic Border Dies is a favourite product for me right now and so I chose the zigzag border to cut off the edge of the card front .

The Cards

The second card I made is a simple card just using stamps ink and paper. My husband is more partial to the cleaner look. Which one do you like better?

Kit Along with Me Class

On Sunday night I held a Kit Along with Me Class with my team. I hold a couple of team events each month but this was an extra event. With my team growing, especially this month, the fabulous offer Stampin’ Up have during Sale-a-bration means you can join me and my team for only $169. And choose your own kit up to the value of $235 Plus get FREE Shipping, Plus get a FREE bundle from the July-December Mini Catalogue. This is a fabulous deal and I would love for you to join my team.

Anyway, getting back to Sunday night. There were 11 of us on Zoom that joined in and we all put together a kit from Stampin’ Up!’s #Kitcollection and played some Bingo. I have been wanting to try Bingo for quite some time now and I thought my team could be the guinea pigs and I think its safe to say that they loved it and so did I. It was a lot of fun and something that I plan to incorporate into my events.

Here are some of the ladies. A couple are out of shot as I had to be quick to take the photo as one of the ladies was about to sign out.

The kits that Stampin’ Up! now are offering are so lovely and I know that you will enjoy putting them together as much as we did. The bonus of these lovely kits is that they are all inclusive. Everything you need to create these kits are in the box, well except for scissors.

I plan to hold a Kit Along with Me Class in September as well and you can find out the details here. Make sure to order your kit as soon as you can and make sure you use host code AP4WMNY6 to ensure you get your kit in time. I would suggest you order by the 9th of September. Unfortunately as Sydney is in lockdown, our warehouse has had to close for cleaning a few times which has slowed down shipments.
