Blooms & Wishes Stamp Set

The Blooms and Bliss stamp set is one of those sets that can be so versatile for back grounds. You can easily use it to make your own Designer Papers.

Blooms and Bliss

When I go searching for ideas for Thank you’s for my customers I go straight to one website, Pootles.co.uk. Sam Donald has so many fantastic ideas for Thank you’s. As I was searching through her videos on Youtube I came across this notepad that she did using the colours from some current designer papers.  I thought that was a great idea as a thank you to my customers.  I was inspired by the Blooms & Bliss DSP so used those colours and the Blooms & Wishes stamp set to make these gorgeous cards & notepads.

All my customers who purchased through me in June received this notepad & card.  I didn’t write in the card as I wanted them to be able to send it onto someone themselves.  I love this set and the colours are just divine together.

Peace this Christmas

I have been holding some christmas classes already this year.  Yes you read that right.
I designed some Christmas cards that you can see at this post but I have been playing with some new products from the Annual Catalogue.

The stamp set I have been playing with is the Peace This Christmas stamp set and the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I came up with 3 designs.  Two with a similar design.  I love the new oval framelits.

I am really loving this stamp set.  I will be holding Christmas Card classes from September so keep a look out for updates.

Floral Boutique Suite

The Floral Boutique Suite was the first thing that landed on my Wish List when I saw it in the Catalogue.  I wanted the whole suite and not just the Floral Phrases Bundle.  Stampin’ Up! did an amazing job photographing this suite.

Here are some cards that I’ve made with this gorgeous bundle of stamps and dies.

Floral Phrases Die and stamps

I am so very happy with how they both turned out.  I made these for a customer who requested a number of birthday cards.  I love the elegance of these cards.

Connect16 Conference

This past week my family and I went up to volunteer on a Christian Camping Conference. We have a heart for the camping industry and we have volunteered on this conference since 2008 when our eldest daughter was only 1.

This year they asked if I would be interested in running a workshop.  I didn’t know what this was going to look like.  I set the room up with shoe boxes with all the materials for each card and displayed a few other tools that Stampin’ Up! have available.

In the end I demonstrated one card at a time and we moved the stamps around the table.  It worked really well and everyone had a great time stamping.  Most of the people that attended hadn’t stamped before.  I love sharing stamping with people and sharing with people that have never stamped before is fantastic.

These two guys were amusing to watch and also a joy to watch. Their team work was fantastic as they worked through getting the image as perfectly as they could on the card.

The below photo is of the fantastic people that attended, including myself.  They were all fantastic and I look forward to doing this again at the next conference in 2 years if I’m given the opportunity.
