Next weeks classes are a One Sheet Wonder using the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I created these cards at the come and play day at my team leaders home. This photo does not do the cards justice. The class cost is $25 for 12 cards, however, you can purchase a pack of the Tropical Oasis designer paper for just $15 in addition to the class fee. A couple of weeks ago I saw a video on youtube on how to make a junk journal. I hadn’t heard of them before so I watched a couple of videos. Then I saw a video that used an old Readers Digest book cover to create a junk journal. My Dad had dozens of them when I was growing up and wondered if he still had them. So I called him and asked and he did, however they weren’t the books I had originally thought of, they were older than I remember. In fact the have so much more character than I had remembered.
I created this Journal using old pages from notebooks, some DSP and the book cover from the Readers Digest. I threaded some bakers twine through the sheets of paper to create a book and then added memorabilia to it. These photos of the finished project with out additional items and photos in it.
