February Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #39

Welcome to our February Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #39. Have you joined me from Niki’s blog or are you starting right here? Either way, welcome. There are 9 of us hopping along this month so you’re in for a real treat.

This months Blog Hop is a layout challenge. This challenge was a lovely one to participate in. I was able to create two cards this month and I rotated one of the cards.

I chose to use the tulip paper and coordinating stamp set from the January to June Mini Catalogue. The cards aren’t square but I hope that I have fulfilled the challenge. Layering the DSP onto a colour other that white really brings out the colours in the Designer Series Paper. Isn’t the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper just beautiful? Leaving the DSP to shine was a great choice with just a small amount of stamping.

Artfully Layered Bundle

The Artfully Layered Bundle jumped out at me as soon as I saw it. I love the greenery in the paper and the dies are just to die for, pardon the pun. This is also my first class for the year which will be held on Thursday 17th February at 10am. You can email me for more details or click on this link.

The Designer Series Paper is so lovely that it does a lot of the work for you when you’re creating your projects. This suite would also go well with the Paradise Palms Bundle

Artfully Layered Bundle Cards

Each Friday I have been doing a facebook friday live and on the 31st December I am showcasing these cards, however I did create some quicker cards on the live. I also upload the video to youtube. I have been enjoying the facebook lives and it has helped me with my creativity.
Which version of the cards would you like to re-create? I show these cards above at about the 6 minute mark on the video if you wish to skip ahead.

November Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #36

Welcome to the November Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #36. This month’s blog hop is a layout challenge. You may have arrived here from Melissa’s Blog or you may have started here. You will be able to continue to the blog hop by clicking on any of the links below or by clicking on the Next button which will take you to the next blog.

This week has been a fairly busy week. I had my ProCRAFTinators Retreat last weekend and this weekend I have had Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage@Home event. So I really had very limited time to get the creative juices flowing. Having the challenge be a Layout meant I didn’t need to think of a design but did need to choose some products to use. I went with the early release Eden’s Garden Suite. This includes the Stamps and Dies and the limited release products of the cotton paper, designer series paper and the gems. If you love these papers and gems as much as I do, then you will want to get your hands on them quick smart as these are only while supplies last.

My card came together really quickly while I was in a break from OnStage@Home. I wanted to show off this suite and have a good play with it as I haven’t had too much time to just create for the sake of creating. On the white piece I have used my paper snips to rough up the edges around and repeated this process for the evening evergreen layer. To finish off the card I have use the gorgeous Garden Gems to help bring out the gold foil that is on the DSP.

My Card Design

In the first image below you can see the texture I created using the cotton paper where I using liquid glue and scrunch up the cotton paper and then layer onto the card front to get the crinkle look. The second image you can see that I have stamped the insert inside the card. I have also layered the white onto a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock to add extra details. On the envelope I have used the Designer Series Paper to decorate the back flap and I have stamped on the front as well.

Do you want to get your hands on all of these products before they are gone? Then click on this link to add as many of these products to your cart right now and place your order!

September Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #34

Welcome to the September Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #34. This month’s blog hop is a layout challenge. You may have landed her from Melissa’ Blog or you may have started here. You will be able to continue to the blog hop by clicking on any of the links below or by clicking on the Next button which will take you to the next blog.

In my card I have used 3 different die sets, Scalloped Contours, Floral Heart & Stitched Rectangle Dies. The Designer Series Paper I used is the Beautifully Penned paper which is available to earn FREE during Sale-a-bration which ends at the end of September. You can choose this paper FREE if you place a qualifying order for $90. If you purchase these three die sets and some card stock you will get over the $180 and you can then choose 2 items FREE from the Sale-a-bration brochure.

I layered the patterned papers onto basic black card and layered them all onto Petal Pink card stock. I cut the intricate heart out of the Rose Metallic Specialty Paper. Using the banner die that is in the Floral Heart dies was also cut out of Petal Pink card stock and I stamped in Memento Black ink and made it into an anniversary card.

Berry Delightful Stamp a Stack

Today I wish to share with you a lovely set of cards using the Berry Delightful patterned paper as my first Stamp a stack class for the year.

Last night I was having a crafting session with some of my team and I was inspired by my upline Marelle and her gorgeous cards from a couple of years ago which you can see here.

I wanted to use something current for my upcoming class on the 11th & 12th February and so I chose the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Berry Blessings stamp set which you can earn for FREE with a $180 purchase till the end of Febuary during Sale-a-bration. Using some coordinating colours from the patterned paper I used Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Pacific Point & Granny Apple Green. Cutting out some of the images to go beside the sentiment and then stamping the other images and fussy cutting them out. This is a lovely fancy fold card and I’d love for you to join me at one of my classes in February.

You can see some more of the wonderful papers that you can earn for free with a $90 purchase during Sale-a-bration here.

Dragonfly Garden Stamp set

The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is found in the Dandy Garden Suite and is so lovely that you will get so much inspiration from it and will want to snap it up in no time. I have used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle of the stamp set and punch and also used the Dandy Garden 6×6 DSP. These were designed by the Stampin’ Up! team and I enjoyed making these cards. Using all the same products and sized card stock pieces for each card. We’ve just flipped the layout. On these cards we have also used the Mossy Meadow Braided Trim and used the Mini Glue Dots to keep the bow or not affixed to the card. You can see another set of cards from my other post and this post.
