From the 2020 Beginner brochure introduces the SIMPLY CITRUS CARD KIT. This stunning kit by Stampin’ Up! is a great way to get started making your own cards. The kit makes 15 cards (3 each of 5 designs). 16 printed envelopes (8 each of 2 designs).

A few of the other things this kit contains is 10 yards of Calypso Coral and white Baker’s Twine, 60 vellum die cut flowers and it is all contained in a super cute printed cardboard box. The colors used in this kit are Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Just Jade, Garden Green, Night of Navy and white.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #20

Welcome to the July Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #20. You may have joined me from Melissa’s Blog or you have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a layout challenge. I chose to showcase the World of Good Suite of products that I shared with you on Sunday.

As the World of Good Suite has Misty Moonlight as one of its main colours I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and knew what I was wanting to stamp. I pulled out the World of Good Speciality Designer Series Paper and chose the pattern I wanted to add underneath. That led me to sponging in Cinnamon Cider ink and stamping the quill in cinnamon cider onto cinnamon cider card stock. I added the sentiment on the right side above the quill and I was very happy with the layout.

I started sponging the background and then using my brand new water painters, I dragged some of the Misty Moonlight ink around the globe. My Best Dressed “To Go” Class Kit

Tropical Oasis – One Sheet Wonder

Next weeks classes are a One Sheet Wonder using the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I created these cards at the come and play day at my team leaders home. This photo does not do the cards justice. The class cost is $25 for 12 cards, however, you can purchase a pack of the Tropical Oasis designer paper for just $15 in addition to the class fee. Junk Journal

A couple of weeks ago I saw a video on youtube on how to make a junk journal. I hadn’t heard of them before so I watched a couple of videos. Then I saw a video that used an old Readers Digest book cover to create a junk journal. My Dad had dozens of them when I was growing up and wondered if he still had them. So I called him and asked and he did, however they weren’t the books I had originally thought of, they were older than I remember. In fact the have so much more character than I had remembered.

I created this Journal using old pages from notebooks, some DSP and the book cover from the Readers Digest. I threaded some bakers twine through the sheets of paper to create a book and then added memorabilia to it. These photos of the finished project with out additional items and photos in it.

Timeless Tropical

The Timeless Tropical stamp set is a gorgeous set that has so many lovely images in the set including the hibiscus flower and the frangipani, not to mention the leaves in the set.
I created 2 of the cards fairly easily using the blog hop I did in January but then changed up the hibiscus colour to match the card base. I did a quick search and found lots of other colours that the flower could be and played with them.

I then went to a come and play day at my team leaders home and came up with the other two cards. I’m happy with the final result of all 4 of the cards.
