Stamp Camp – Robyn’s Shoebox

Sharing today a card from Stamp Camp – Robyn’s ShoeBox. At Stamp Camp we usually have shoeboxes that have all the items to create the card in the box. But this year with all the restrictions in place in Sydney we were unable to hold the retreat live so Marelle posted a type of Stamp Camp in a box where we had the elements to create the cards but needed to use our own stamp sets.

I used the Painted Poppies stamp set on this card. The idea of Robyn’s Shoebox is to use bleach to colour in the poppies. I needed to go searching for my bleach as I don’t have it in the house very often. The card base is the shimmery white card stock which is so lovely.

I’m going to continue to share more shoebox cards from Stamp camp over the coming weeks. You can purchase all these items from my online store shop.stampinwithsharon.com.au

Stamp Camp – Marelle’s ShoeBox

Sharing today a card from Stamp Camp – Marelle’s ShoeBox.

I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set on this card. The other Evening Evergreen card front was already dry embossed using the Macrame 3D Embossing folder and all I needed to do was cut out the pot plant and stamp on the circle. It really is a lovely card and I love the lattice sheet to add a lovely element to the card.

Pocketful of Sunshine – Part 3

The pocketful of sunshine stamp set presentation continues.

I wanted to make a sampler and experiment with all the stamps that were in the set so created this sampler.  I took some photos of my girls hamming it up in their sunnies.
I’ve used the Color Theory paper stack in conjunction withe the stamp set.
I really love how this turned out.  I just need to get the hubby to put it up on the wall for me.

The last project I made was this banner.  When I saw the pocket stamp I knew it would be great to create a banner with it and combine it with the alphabet stamp set.  The colours I used were Dapper Denim, Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Berry Burst.

New Holiday Catalogue – 2017

The brand new Holiday Catalogue is now live.

I have sent out catalogues to
customers that have purchased from in in the last 12 months.  If you’d like a copy then send me a message and I will pop one in the post for you.

When I sent out my catalogues I’ve also included a voucher and a card especially for my customers.  I really love the card that I made and its fairly simple to re-create too.

Pocketful of Sunshine – Part 2

Continuing on from my last post I wanted to share some more projects that I’ve made to present at Stamp Camp using the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle.

This next project is a gift card holder for Fathers Day.  I made a belly band to hold it closed.  It is fairly simple.

This next project is a christmas card that I made while at Stamp Camp using the pocket framelit.  The sentiment is stamped onto the money shape that is in the framelits dies.  I thought it was a cute way of using it.

This next project is using the pocket die and I used a 1″ strip of DSP to make it into a pocket and used ribbon as the handle.

This next project is using the new mini pizza boxes and I used the sun shape to cut out the window with the sun rays.

All of these projects are fairly easy to recreate and if you’d like to make them yourself then get yourself the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle and get creating.

Pocketful of Sunshine – Part 1

At Stamp Camp there are presentations of techniques or stamp set spotlights. We get the opportunity to see new techniques and be inspired. This years presentations were on bleaching, embossing paste, faux silk, Retiform or Block technique.

The last presentation was by me and I did a Spot light on a stamp set called Pocketful of Sunshine (143719 $30.00) and matching Framelits (143750 $41.00).  You can save 10% if you buy these two items as a bundle (145345 $63.75)

I started making samples early and searched Pinterest to see what inspiration I could get.  I made these cards after being inspired.

Then I wanted to use some of the Embossing paste to create a wall and create a graffitti wall with the stamps.

While at Stamp Camp I was told about a card similar to the one below.  I used gold embossing powder for the bottom glasses.

If you’d like to purchase this stamp set or framelits, you can contact me.

Stamp Camp 2017

This past weekend I’ve been to our teams weekend away.

We have the most amazing upline that organises a fantastic weekend away for us. She needs to limit the numbers as we like to have some room to create.

When we first arrive we are greeted with a bag of challenges to complete along with some extra goodies to get us through the weekend.

There are shoebox swaps to complete throughout the weekend as well. If you can’t get your mojo going the shoeboxes are a great way to be creative without the thinking. All the prep is completed and all you need to do is stamp and assemble.

The challenges can be trickier. You are given some supplies and you need to create a project with them. You can add other things as well.

The worst part of the weekend is packing up and heading home. Though seeing the family again is great and always good to sleep in your own bed.

Below is a photo of all the Stamp Fairy gifts we received and the goodies we received when we first arrived.

It is a fantastic weekend away so if you would like the chance to come along next year, then sign up in my team and you could be joining us next year.
