Daffodil Daydream by Stampin’ Up!

The Project I’m sharing with you today is using the stamp set Daffodil Daydream by Stampin’ Up! I created this card because of a colour challenge at a Stamp Camp back in February. The colours I needed to use was Shaded Spruce, Melon Mambo & Crumb Cake.

I chose to use the stamp set Daffodil Daydream by Stampin’ Up! and used my blends to colour in the daffodils. Not the traditional colour but I love the cards.

At the stamp camp I decided to record a number of the cards that I made including some shoeboxes and I’ll continue to share these with you over the coming weeks. You can see some I’ve already shared here.

Don’t forget there is still the Last Chance Products list still on so you can grab yourself a bargain before all the products are gone for good.

April Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #29

Welcome to the April Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #29. You may have joined me from Kylie’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is to create a Fancy Fold card. This month I wanted to create a card that had a number of elements within the card and so I went for a little search on the interwebs and stumbled across this one from Simply Simple Stamping. I like that there are a number of elements to this fancy fold card. And generally with a fancy fold card there is a limited amount of space to write your message and have it not be seen before you open it. However, with the extra panel there is a lot of space to write.

Don’t you think the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper is absolutely stunninng? I knew I had to use these papers as I just love the colours. What paper would you choose if you were to make this card?

Here is a view from the top of the card so you can see all the different folds within the card.

March Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #28

Welcome to the March Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #28. You may have joined me from Elizabeth’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is to a colour challenge. Colour challenges can be fun and not so fun, if you know what I mean. But I do like these colours together and I knew which stamp set I wanted to use straight away.

I wanted to use products from the January to June Mini Catalogue and I like the Fine Art Floral Suite. And with so many great products that are still available, you’ll want to get your hands on these products now.

I had some inspiration for this card from one I recieved this past week from our Demonstrator Development Manager, Clare. Her card is gorgeous and had an embossed frame and I wanted to incorporate that into my card.
However, I felt the white in the background was a bit stark for me so I chose one of colours to be a background layer. Then I chose the coordinating Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder from the Art Gallery Suite. I applied some ink to the folder and then ran it through
the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to add some depth to the embossed image.

You can continue to hop along with the March Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #28 by clicking on any of the links below. Even though we may be small in number but I know the creativity in this group will be huge!

Berry Delightful Stamp a Stack

Today I wish to share with you a lovely set of cards using the Berry Delightful patterned paper as my first Stamp a stack class for the year.

Last night I was having a crafting session with some of my team and I was inspired by my upline Marelle and her gorgeous cards from a couple of years ago which you can see here.

I wanted to use something current for my upcoming class on the 11th & 12th February and so I chose the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Berry Blessings stamp set which you can earn for FREE with a $180 purchase till the end of Febuary during Sale-a-bration. Using some coordinating colours from the patterned paper I used Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Pacific Point & Granny Apple Green. Cutting out some of the images to go beside the sentiment and then stamping the other images and fussy cutting them out. This is a lovely fancy fold card and I’d love for you to join me at one of my classes in February.

You can see some more of the wonderful papers that you can earn for free with a $90 purchase during Sale-a-bration here.

Dragonfly Garden Stamp set

The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is found in the Dandy Garden Suite and is so lovely that you will get so much inspiration from it and will want to snap it up in no time. I have used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle of the stamp set and punch and also used the Dandy Garden 6×6 DSP. These were designed by the Stampin’ Up! team and I enjoyed making these cards. Using all the same products and sized card stock pieces for each card. We’ve just flipped the layout. On these cards we have also used the Mossy Meadow Braided Trim and used the Mini Glue Dots to keep the bow or not affixed to the card. You can see another set of cards from my other post and this post.

Butterfly Wishes

Butterfly Wishes is what I am sharing today with you and this gorgeous card. I have matched this stamp with Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam & Crumb Cake ink. Adding the extra texture to the card with the 3 types of ribbon adds to the card.

When I create my classes I always have left over kits and this is one of the kits I had left over so I wanted to create extra cards. Using Very Vanilla also softens the card.

I will continue to use up all the excess card kits that I have and I am hoping to use all current stamp sets to do so. Tomorrow is the last day to be able to order from the Giant Year End Close Out.
