I chose to make a male card this time as you can never have enough ideas for the men in your life. I am using “A Good Man” stamp set, the “Come Sail Away” Designer Series Paper and my Blends. I was holding a card class earlier in the day that I made this card so I had the stamp set out. As it is a male card I knew that the Come Sail Away papers would go perfectly.

At OnStage we also swap with other fellow demos and I decided to use a couple of kits that I had from previous classes. I used the Tropical Chic stamp set. I love the colours that I’ve used. Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Call Me Clover and a touch of pink with Rococo Rose. I have always loved pink and green together which is probably why I love this card so much.
The below photo is my work in progress. I love taking these types of photos as it shows the all the creativity that goes into making the cards.

This past weekend we have had out local Onstage event and our Stampers Anonymous team are doing a Swap. A Swap is where we make a set number of the same card for swap it with the others participating. There are 28 people participating this year which is fabulous. I really don’t mind making the same of the one type of card. I think that is the Administrator in me.
I chose to create a fancy fold card but it is a simple fancy fold. I used the Butterfly Wishes stamp set and the Woven Threads Designer Paper. I’ve used the In Colors as the card base and a coordinating colour for stamping.

We’ve been hopping for 12 months now. I’m so excited to share these cards with you this month. The colours are so lovely by themselves. I chose the Beautiful You stamp set to work with and I love how the cards have turned out.
This first card I saw on Pinterest and changed it up. I loved the idea of using the daisy punch for the skirt. I stamped the daisy stamp from Daisy Delight in Granny Apple Green and then sponged on some Lovely Lipstick in the centre and sponged some Granny Apple Green at the tips of the leaves to blend the colours. I then cut up the petals into pairs and overlayed them into the shape of the skirt. I used the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots around her waist to hide where I’ve stuck the petals. I used the blends to colour in the rest of her dress blending the two colours together. I used Night of Navy on the ground so it looks like she’s dancing on water. The colour was a bit too dark so I used the Color Lifter to remove some of the intensity of the Navy. I then added some Shimmery Crystal Effects onto the petals and on the water.
The next three cards are fairly simple cards. I’ve always been a fan of simple cards.
On the dancing lady I’ve stamped the image onto Granny Apple Green and then cut the dress out and stuck it onto the stamped image and coloured the hat with blends.

One of my recent Stamp a Stack classes featured the “Above the Clouds” stamp set. I do love how these cards turned out. I wouldn’t normally use these colours together but with some encouragement from a couple of friends I went with the colours and they really work well together.
The original design was one I copied from my amazing talented upline, Marelle but I changed up the stamp set and colours and they are a whole new set of cards.
I chose different embossing folders to use in the background on the Bermuda Bay. When stamping the Hot Air Balloon I used full strength Bermuda Bay and then for the solid image in the balloon I stamped off in Bermuda Bay.
The small hot air balloons in the background are stamped off as well. What do you think? Would you like to make these cards? I have a few card kits available. This Saturday I am hosting a Christmas Card Buffet from 10am – 5pm. There will be 10 different Christmas Card designs to choose from. The cost is $5 entry and then $2.50 per card. You can come and stay all day or pop in for a short time and make some cards and then go.
