Tropical Oasis – One Sheet Wonder
Next weeks classes are a One Sheet Wonder using the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I created these cards at the come and play day at my team leaders home. This photo does not do the cards justice. The class cost is $25 for 12 cards, however, you can purchase a pack of the Tropical Oasis designer paper for just $15 in addition to the class fee. You can then make some more cards at home. This is a saving of $10.95 (including shipping). You can see more details about my class at this link.
Product ListTimeless Tropical
The Timeless Tropical stamp set is a gorgeous set that has so many lovely images in the set including the hibiscus flower and the frangipani, not to mention the leaves in the set.
I created 2 of the cards fairly easily using the blog hop I did in January but then changed up the hibiscus colour to match the card base. I did a quick search and found lots of other colours that the flower could be and played with them.
I then went to a come and play day at my team leaders home and came up with the other two cards. I’m happy with the final result of all 4 of the cards.
These 4 cards are the ones we’ll be making in this weeks classes. If you’d like to come along and make these cards with me, then click on this link to see more details.
Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack
I’ve already shared all the Designer paper over the last 7 Sundays so now I’m turning my attention to the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack.
I love the Memories & More Card packs as they can make card making so quick and simple. All you need are these cards and the Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes Pack or the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. You can make up 20 cards in no time at all with these two supplies. That’s 20 cards for less than $2 each.
Sunday – Designer Paper Day
Have you seen the gorgeous “Parisian Blossoms” Specialty Designer Paper in the catalogue yet? Is has soft, elegant patterns ans some champagne foil accents on some designs. The colours in the paper are Basic Black, Champagne, Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink, Pool Party & Whisper White.
You can have a look at all the gorgeous patterns in this paper pack by clicking on the video.
Engagement Card
Over the weekend my husband and I were invited to an engagement party of one of the lovely ladies in my team and her fiance. It was held in Katoomba on possibly the hottest days of the recent times. It was, however, a lovely day celebrating Michelle & Josh’s engagement.
I had to make a special card for them and not just pick something from my stash of cards. I chose to use new product from the January-June Mini Catalogue. I chose the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set with matching Designer Series Paper with the gorgeous Champagne Foil accents in the paper. I used the Blends to colour in the blossoms. I didn’t have the Petal Pink blends so used the Calypso Coral blends instead. I used the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon as well. And of course I needed to stamp the blossoms on the envelope which I did in Pool Party ink.
You can now purchase all of these products up till the 3rd June. And don’t forget that for every $90 spent you can earn a free item from the
Sale-a-bration catalogue. There are some great products that you can earn for free including stamps, ribbon, Designer paper, Punches & dies. There is even a fabulous card kit that you can earn which makes up 8 cards (4 each of 2 designs).
Just for You
With the beginning of the new January-June Mini Catalogue I sent out my catalogues to the customers that have shopped with me in the last 12 months. I created cards to send with the catalogues using some new products. I love the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and matching stamp set. I cut the DSP into 9.5cmx13.85cm pieces (6 from 1 sheet) I used Basic Black as the layer in between but before I stuck this down I cut out the black frame layer to save on card stock. I then used a retired punch for the white circle but you can use the circle framelits to cut out a circle that would work too.
