Forever Fern meets Simple Stamping

Forever Fern meets Simple Stamping today on my blog. This card is super simple to create with products you have already in your stash, once you add the Forever Fern stamp set.

I started off wanting to use a colour from each of the current In Colors that Stampin’ Up! have in their range right now. I chose the two greens within each collection which led me to Just Jade and Pretty Peacock. Stamping in Pretty Peacock ink with some of the ferns I then added some Bumblebee card as an accent and to cover up the end of the stems. The scrap piece was sitting on my desk at the time which made it an easy choice to use.

Adding the ‘Hello’ in Tuxedo Black Memento and the stamping is done. I layered Basic Black card onto the Just Jade card base and then realised that the whisper white was too long so rather than grabbing out my trimmer I chose to tear off the bottom. What do you think? Do the colours work? Forever Fern meets Simple Stamping – I must say the three colours have grown on my over the time.

Blossoms in Bloom Stepped Up

This week I’m sharing the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle which I have fallen in love with.

I’m excited to be sharing this Blossoms in Bloom Stepped Up card today. Starting by inking up the blossoms stamp in So Saffron Ink and then using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Write marker I added some colour to the edge of the stamp. I then overlayed the die cut blossoms from the Many Layered Blossoms dies using my Fine Tip Glue.

I have created a video for you to have a look and see how I have made this card. I’m very new to making videos but I wanted to share how I’ve created these cards.

Another Welcome Little One

Here is the second baby card that I was asked to create for a customers upcoming card class and I wanted something very simple.  This time I used Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock.

I created a mask and used sponge brayers to create the Pool Party rectangle.  I then used the Animal Outing stamp set in Sahara Sand ink.

I also used the layering circle dies for the sentiment.  The sentiment is also from Animal Outing.

Animal Outing Birthday

At the conference we were at last month I needed to create a few cards as I was doing a workshop. Here is one of the cards that I created. I wanted to show how you can use some only a few products to create a card that they could duplicate.

Rather than using extra cardstock I punched the tailored punch out of the coloured card stock. Once the designer paper is layered on top you can’t even see where you punched.

I used the Animal Outing stamp set in the background. Then used the “Happy Birthday” from the Picture Perfect Birthday.

During August if you spend $90 on product you can earn a $9 voucher to spend next month. This is part of the Bonus Deals promotion that Stampin’ Up! have at the moment. If you’d like to place an order you can order online. And if you use the hostess code A2GV4THE during August I will send you an little gift. Today is the last day of this promotion.

Colour Theory Designer Series Paper

The New Annual Catalogue for 2017/2018 has been released and I have loved playing with all the new products that are available.  I absolutely love the colours in the Colour Theory DSP.  Berry Burst, Dapper Denim, Old Olive & Crushed Curry.  I decided to use these colours and the dsp to create a little box with a handle.  The inspiration came from a fellow demonstrator Nikki Joyce from the UK. She shared a bag with note cards on a facebook page I’m a member of.

I came up with these bags and cards.
