I am loving the Inked Botanicals Bundle & Designer Series Paper and wanted to use it in my Facebook Live a few weeks ago.
This suite is a fabulous set of products and you will just love to have in your stash of craft supplies. I wanted to show off the Designer Series Paper because I just love this paper and the colours that are used.
Today’s live is focusing on the Sentimental Park stamps and coordinating dies from the January to April Mini Catalogue. I’ve pair these with the Dandy Designs DSP that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order of $180. This pack of designer papers contains 48 sheets of 12×12″, that’s 4 times a normal pack of Designer Series Paper.
I chose to use the Basic White Note cards and envelopes as they are quick and easy to use and are very sweet. I wanted to create some very simple cards with just stamps, ink and paper and then stepped it up with the dies.

This months Blog Hop is a layout challenge. I had plans in my head about what I wanted to use and had an image of what I expected the card to look like, however it turned out differently to what was in my mind. When I first starting thinking about the layout I wanted to use the “He’s the Man” Suite of products. I am loving the papers, stamps and dies of this suite. A great suite for those men in your lives.
I chose to use Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent & Early Espresso card stock and stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink so that I could emboss the sentiment in White embossing powder.

This months Blog Hop is a colour challenge and this challenge really got me. The new In Colors are absolutely stunning and I love love love them. However, mixing one of the colours with Petal Pink & Soft Sea Foam really was a challenge for me. I chose to use the Bottled Happiness stamp set for my card, and I love this stamp set and has a lot of versatility.
Using the Tea Boutique cards and envelopes as my card base has helped to make my creativity easier on this challenge. Adding in some Gray Granite card as a frame under the stamped image to lift the layer. I used the two greens as the bottle and really happy with how it turned out adding the parakeet party as the shading on the bottle.

This months Blog Hop is a layout challenge. This challenge was a lovely one to participate in. I was able to create two cards this month and I rotated one of the cards.
I chose to use the tulip paper and coordinating stamp set from the January to June Mini Catalogue. The cards aren’t square but I hope that I have fulfilled the challenge. Layering the DSP onto a colour other that white really brings out the colours in the Designer Series Paper. Isn’t the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper just beautiful? Leaving the DSP to shine was a great choice with just a small amount of stamping.

In todays post, Blending Brushes meets Paradise Palms. I love these cards and the quick and easy way they are created. These cards are using the blending brushes. One of the cards also uses a masking technique which gives a definite panel which is coloured. The other card is free hand but I love them both.
On each card I have used the same colours, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral & Crumb Cake for the blended backgrounds and then used the Memento Black ink for the palm trees and the sentiment. The original inspiration came from Angie Leach & Stampin’ Fun with Tracy – I couldn’t find her blog but found the image from Pinterest.
My cards
I created a couple of other cards as well using different colours and am sharing a video for you to see the other designs as well. As always you will see all the products I have used at the bottom of this email. This stamp set has been fun to play with and you can see some of the other cards I have created here.
Sharing today the Paradise Palms card I created using the blending brushes to create a sunset. I started by punching out a circle from a post it note and stuck it onto my card front. Using the blending brushes I added the ink to the front of the card.

And here is a little video for you to see how I have created my card. I have recorded it as a time lapse video so it is a very quick watch for you. Please subscribe to my YouTube Channel to get notified of all my latest videos.
