My youngest daughter Hannah turns 12 in Lockdown today. We live in Sydney Australia and we have been in lockdown since the end of June and we are now at week 11 and there looks like there will be another 8 weeks at least.
But as Hannah turns 12 and we are in lockdown I wanted to celebrate her as much as we can at this time. So I made her this card as she is a huge fan of Harry Potter. She has read all the books and her favourite house is Hufflepuff which is why the card is the colours that they are. The majority of her gifts are Harry Potter related so I hope she is going to be super excited with them.
I used the Suit & Tie dies and the Playful Alphabet dies from Stampin’ Up! And then used the Biggest Wish stamp set for the sentiment inside. I did make a smudge on the collar but hopefully it just adds to the look of the card and highschool

On Sunday night I held a Kit Along with Me Class with my team. I hold a couple of team events each month but this was an extra event. With my team growing, especially this month, the fabulous offer Stampin’ Up have during Sale-a-bration means you can join me and my team for only $169. And choose your own kit up to the value of $235 Plus get FREE Shipping, Plus get a FREE bundle from the July-December Mini Catalogue. This is a fabulous deal and I would love for you to join my team.
Anyway, getting back to Sunday night. There were 11 of us on Zoom that joined in and we all put together a kit from Stampin’ Up!’s #Kitcollection and played some Bingo. I have been wanting to try Bingo for quite some time now and I thought my team could be the guinea pigs and I think its safe to say that they loved it and so did I. It was a lot of fun and something that I plan to incorporate into my events.
Here are some of the ladies. A couple are out of shot as I had to be quick to take the photo as one of the ladies was about to sign out.
The kits that Stampin’ Up! now are offering are so lovely and I know that you will enjoy putting them together as much as we did. The bonus of these lovely kits is that they are all inclusive. Everything you need to create these kits are in the box, well except for scissors.
I plan to hold a Kit Along with Me Class in September as well and you can find out the details here. Make sure to order your kit as soon as you can and make sure you use host code AP4WMNY6 to ensure you get your kit in time. I would suggest you order by the 9th of September. Unfortunately as Sydney is in lockdown, our warehouse has had to close for cleaning a few times which has slowed down shipments.
Welcome to the August Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #33. You may have joined me from Elizabeth’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a colour challenge. Initially I didn’t have any idea what I was going to create but after playing with a Sale-a-bration stamp set today, the card came together really quickly. The new Sale-a-bration Stamp set “Textures & Frames” which you can earn for FREE with a $90 purchase. I paired this set with the “Enjoy the Moment” stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.
We needed to use 3 of the new In Colors from the Annual Catalogue, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen. I chose to use the Tuxedo Black ink for the seed pod. Layering it onto a piece of Evening Evergreen and then onto a piece of Whisper White Thick card stock.

What are your two favorite holiday treats? For us, it would have to be gingerbread and peppermints. So, why not combine the two and create a gorgeous suite just for you? Well, we did just that! The Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, so sit back, grab a cookie or two and enjoy. #westpennanthills #stampinupdemo #stampinupdemonstratorAustralia #handmadecards #christmascards #stampinup
Welcome to the July Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #32. You may have joined me from Meigans Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is to create a card a designated layout. I enjoy the layout challenges as it can take some of the hard work out of the challenge for me. Are you loving the Hand-Penned stamp as much as I am? That’s why I chose this stamp set to create with this month. The sentiments weren’t quite going to work with my card so I did need to substitute with another stamp set for the sentiment and so I used the stamp set Peaceful Moments for the Thank you.
One of the colours that I really love is Granny apple Green and so I paired that with Polished Pink & Fresh Freesia and then also used Basic Black to make the flowers pop.

Welcome to the June Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #31. You may have joined me from Kylie’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is to create a card using Black, White and add one other colour. The challenge may sound easy as you just work in monochrome but then you need to decide which colour you want to add into the project and with 50 colours to choose from, that can get quite challenging. I chose to use Daffodil Delight and used the blending brushes to colour in the True Love Patterned paper that is retiring at the end of the month so you should purchase your pack today before it is gone.
Tying some daffodil delight ribbon around the centre breaks up the daisies. Using the tailored tag punch and the retiring You are Amazing stamp set for the sentiment finishes off the card.
