12 Days of Christmas – Day 10

Day 10 brings two passions together for me.  Essential Oils & Papercrafts.

I made the tag using the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the Layering Circle Framelits.  I also used the Pretty Label Punch to make the Gold Foil topper with Cherry Cobbler Double Stitched Ribbon.  I have made some Bath salts with my Essential oils.  I used Himalayan Salt, Epsom Salts, Bicarb Soda and some Young Living Lavender Essential Oil.  This would make a great gift for the hard to buy for person that loves baths.

If you are interested in Essential oils you can contact me for further information. If you’d like to sign up to have an account then you can do that here. Signing up is a great way to get a discount on all your oils and to kick out those chemicals that are in the home. I’ve been using these oils for over 12 months now and am slowly changing over the chemicals in my house for natural products.

12 Days of Christmas – Day 7

Day 7 brings these cute little bon bons made from the Year with Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I had a request for some boxes for a Christmas table that would hold 2-3 chocolates.  This is what I found on YouTube.  I love these little boxes so much that I’m going to make some for my Christmas table this year.

These are just two designs of from the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper which is on the retiring list till its sold out.

I found a video on how to make these cure bon bons at Intertwyne Designs.  They are so cute and I had to make them.  There is a also a box that she made to fit 4 of these into.

12 Days of Christmas – Day 2

On this 2nd Day of Christmas I wanted to share this gorgeous little pouch with you.  It is a sweet little pouch that holds a pack of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate mix. I have attached a fold circle at the top of the packet with Mini Glue Dots and then punched a hole in the middle and used that Cherry Cobbler cross stitched ribbon.  I’ve used the oval framelits with the stitched oval framelits on top.

This was a really simple pouch to make.  All I did was measure how big the satchet was and worked out what size the pouch had to be.  The seam was half an inch on the side and bottom.

Children’s Craft Course

Starting today I am holding a Children’s Craft Course in my home. The course is for 7 weeks and will, hopefully, help the the children to be able to work with colours more confidently in the future.

They are going to be making a 6″ x 8″ Scrapbook Album, 8 Christmas cards with envelopes and 2 Christmas Rosette Ornaments.

I have a maximum class size of 6 students as I want to be able to give each student the attention and help that they may need.

I’m really looking forward to the classes each week and hope that each of the children will be more confident in colours and being creative.

Below is what they’ll be creating.

And here is the kit that they’ll receive.

If you’d like to purchase any of these products, you can shop for them online at my shop and have them delivered straight to your door.
