This week I have been preparing for my Catalogue Launch which is happening this Sunday. You are welcome to come along too. It is Sunday 3rd June from 2pm-5pm at my home in West Pennant Hills.
I wanted to show how versatile all the Stampin’ Up! products are so have been creating samples of some of the products that I have been able to purchase prior to the catalogue being released tomorrow. As a demonstrator I can pre-order products from upcoming catalogues, one of the many bonuses of being a demonstator.
I am playing with the Tranquil Textures Suite of products which include the Sea of Textures Stamp set, Under the Sea Framelits and the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper. I love how well these products go together. It makes creating easy and fun.
My first project is a birthday card. I’ve used Night of Navy as the card base and then a
layer of Tranquil Tide as a the mat and stamped onto Very Vanilla. The inks I’ve used are Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Tranquil Tide & Night of Navy. I’ve added a little bit of linen thread for some added texture onto the banner.
My second project is a mini pizza box with a set of 6 3″x3″ notecards inside with matching envelopes. Here I’ve kept is fairly simple and used sahara sand and Soft Sea Foam a new colour in the subtles collection. You can purchase the 3×3″ envelopes and the pizza boxes from Stampin’ Up!
I saw the original design on Pinterest by Kim McGillis. I loved her design so much that I just had to make something similar.
My third project is a scrapbook page. I don’t scrap too often and should scrap a whole lot more than I do.
In this project I’ve used the Tranquil Textures DSP, and then used the Sea of Textures as accents on the Whisper White base card. I have then cut out some images from the Under the Sea Framelits and just dabbed the pieces onto a Soft Suede ink pad to give them some texture.
