Blog Hop #5

Thanks for joining the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #5. You may have joined me from Kristy’s Cards blog, so welcome.

This month’s Blog Hop is a layout challenge. I chose to use some products that I am fairly confident that will be retiring in May. I have used the Share What you Love Designer Series Paper which is absolutely a gorgeous pack of card stock. Normally our DSP is paper weight, however this pack is a thicker weight than our normal DSP. In this pack you get 4 sheets of each patterned paper so you get a lot of card in this pack which is great as you want to just keep using it. Some sheets have some shimmer on them as well.

I have paired the dsp with the coordinating stamp set “Love what you do” in Berry Burst Ink. The card came together quite easily as I already had the layout provided so just needed to add the elements to it. Sometimes the layout can be the hardest part to card making. The colours can be the easy part especially with Stampin’ Up! as all their colours coordinate so well together.

I decided to add an envelope to my project and so I covered the back flap with some of the DSP. I really like how my whole project turned out. I added a whisper white insert into the card as the Berry Burst is just a bit dark to write on. I stamped the same flower that’s on the front to the insert as well. You can see that on the photo above.

For Your Birthday

Again I was playing with my two favourite products from the Occasions Catalogue. The Birthday Cheer Stamp set and the How Sweet it is Designer Series Paper (DSP)

This time I was using the DSP as the background and doing this means I really don’t need to do too much to the card. I cut off a strip of DSP and flipped it over to give some contrast. I then just stamped the image onto the punched out circle and layered it all up and its then done.

This is another card that my campers will be making at my Papercrafters Retreat. The registration has closed but you could order the “Retreat in a Box”. In the box you will receive all the make and takes, pillow gifts, a goodie bag, and two stamp sets and a voucher to spend with me all shipped to your door. The cost is $195. You can contact me to order yours today. I will be closing the order period off on 20th April and will be posting them out during the week of the 8th May. There is a very limited number of these available to order to don’t miss out and order yours today.

Welcome Little One

Now that Sale-a-bration is finished, I wanted to show a bit of love to our fabulous Annual Catalogue and share this gorgeous little baby card with you.

This card is using the Animal Outing Stamp set which you can purchase from the annual catalogue. It is a great stamp set with some gorgeous images of some of our native animals.

In this card I have used crumb cake ink stamped off and pool party ink using the sponge brayers.

I’ve been busily preparing for my upcoming Papercrafters Retreat. The registration has closed but you could order the “Retreat in a Box”. In the box you will receive all the make and takes, pillow gifts, a goodie bag, and two stamp sets and a voucher to spend with me all shipped to your door. The cost is $195. On this card I have used stamps, ink and paper. This is known as a #simplestamping card. I have used some wink of stella on the icing just to make them pop but otherwise it is only stamps, ink and paper.

I have used the Birthday Cheer stamp set and used some of the colours from the How Sweet it is DSP. What do you think of this card? I love the colours. They work so well together

Hooray Yippee & Cheers for you!

I am loving the colours in the “How Sweet it is” Designer series Paper (DSP) and created this card for one of my classes. I just love how simple this card is to make. All I have done is cut the DSP into strips to fit on the card front. Punched out a couple of circles or you could die cut them using the layering circle framelits.

I fussy cut the jar out leaving a small amount of white around the outside of the jar. Stamped the sentiment onto the circle and layered it up onto a Coastal Cabana circle. I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink.

What do you think of this card? It is one of the cards that my campers will make in a couple of weeks at my papercrafters retreat.

Tomorrow is the very last day to earn any rewards for Sale-a-bration. I will be closing off my March Host orders tomorrow at 8pm (Sydney time) so if you’d like to place an order and earn some last minute rewards, then place your order before 8pm.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our Team Blog Hop for March. This month’s challenge was to create something using a product that you can earn free during Sale-a-bration. I chose to use the gorgeous Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. I created a Card Gift Box Set. The original box was created by Crafty Caroline.
I paired up the Gingham Gala DSP on the cards with the Butterfly Gala & the Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed sequins.

Here is the box without the belly band. It really is a lovely box that both flaps open to get the cards out.

This is the full set of cards with the box. I really enjoyed creating this project to share with you.

I am holding my first Stamp Camp next month and have a few vacancies so get in quick to book your spot and don’t miss out on a great weekend away south of Sydney. You can book your place by clicking here.
