The Trees for Sale stamp set is in the July to December Mini Catalogue and is a lovely versatile set to create with. I used it in a recent facebook live and had so much fun creating projects with it. Unfortunately the audio wasn’t good on my facebook live but I did create a quick video where I have sped up the video for you. I was inspired by a few other designs including ideas inspired by CindyB Designs; Selene Kempton & Stampingala.
You can check out the video below and purchase any of the products I used in the links under Products. One of these cards was the inspiration for our recent Blog Hop Colour Challenge.

This months Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. I enjoyed this challenge. I designed a card on my facebook live and then recreated the card using these colours. The 3 colours lends themselves very well to a Christmas card. I used the Trees for Sale Stamp set.

This months Blog Hop is a layout Challenge. I don’t mind layout challenges and I found this fairly easy. I started thinking about doing circles, well because there are circles right in the layout, but then decided to go with the Sunny Splash stamp set and use the swimmers as my element. A great choice, even if I do say so myself 🙂
After I chose the stamp set I then chose the colours that I wanted to use, Cherry Cobbler, Mango Melody & Starry Sky, I stamped each swim suit in a colour on Very Vanilla and then fussy cut them out. I chose Sahara Sand as the card base and layed the swimmers down making sure I used dimensionals for the Mango Melody swim suit to pop it up.
Adding a very simple sentiment, “Make a Splash” in Starry Sky ink and again popping the sentiment up with dimensionals. And finally finishing off the card with some Matt Dots. I love love love these matt dots. You can even colour them in if you’d like with some blends.
I hope you like my card and are inspired to get creative. Now you can continue on the blog hop onto Elizabeth. You can click the “Next Blog” button or click on her name below. Happy hopping 🙂
