12 Days of Christmas Day 8

Welcome back again to my 12 Days of Christmas Series.
Today’s project was again from the Secret Santa gift last week.
I wanted to give my recipient the memories and more cards and so just did a really simple wrap using the DSP card stock.

12 Days of Christmas – Day 1

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas!

Last year I did this and wanted to do it again this year. A group of posts that can help you with your Christmas shopping and gift giving.

This first project was an idea I’ve seen around using the Santa’s Bags from the Holiday Catalogue. I have uses Momento ink to stamp with as I was using photopolymer stamps. Stazon ink would be permanent but I really don’t like to use it on my photopolymer stamps. I haven’t coloured Santa in as I know that the colour will bleed and I really like the look of the black.

The bag & tag were given to me at Stamp camp with a prize patrol inside, however it wasn’t stamped. I wanted to step it up some more. The tag is from the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More cards with some Real Red ribbon tied on.

On the flip side of the tag I added some Whisper white card and stamped the To & From from the same stamp set. I can now use this to put a little gift in or some money. CentreStage – Melbourne

Centrestage is an event for Demonstrators titled at Silver Elite or above. I made the title of Silver Elite a couple of years ago and have been fortunate to attend 4 of these events.

Centrestage is a time when we have some specialised training for leaders and Stampin’ Up! make announcements so that we can better support our downlines.

In Melbourne this year we were treated to a lovely dinner and dessert which I got to enjoy with the lovely Marelle, our Team leader and Melissa a fellow demonstrator under Marelle. This was the first time we’d met Melissa as she is from WA.

And finally the three of us also had a photo with the Stampin’ Up logo. It was such a great night to share with these two amazingly talented women.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop Sketch Challenge #1

Thank you for joining us for our first Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop!

The challenge has been set by Nikki Stalker and here is the sketch we are to work with. The inspiration for this sketch is from page 97 of the Annual Catalogue.

Here is the card that I made for the blog hop. I used the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set which is only available till the end of November or while supplies last. I used the colours in the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper as my inspiration.
