I have chosen to use the “Timeless Tropical” stamp set. I loved playing with this set and love the colours. I chose these colours as they were so bright and to me they feel like summer and holidays. I used an aqua painter after I stamped each image to make the ink run and colour them in. I saw this technique at Onstage in November and thought it was so very clever so wanted to try it with this stamp set. And I think it worked beautifully.

Over the weekend my husband and I were invited to an engagement party of one of the lovely ladies in my team and her fiance. It was held in Katoomba on possibly the hottest days of the recent times. It was, however, a lovely day celebrating Michelle & Josh’s engagement.
I had to make a special card for them and not just pick something from my stash of cards. I chose to use new product from the January-June Mini Catalogue. I chose the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set with matching Designer Series Paper with the gorgeous Champagne Foil accents in the paper. I used the Blends to colour in the blossoms. I didn’t have the Petal Pink blends so used the Calypso Coral blends instead. I used the Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon as well. And of course I needed to stamp the blossoms on the envelope which I did in Pool Party ink.
You can now purchase all of these products up till the 3rd June. And don’t forget that for every $90 spent you can earn a free item from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. There are some great products that you can earn for free including stamps, ribbon, Designer paper, Punches & dies. There is even a fabulous card kit that you can earn which makes up 8 cards (4 each of 2 designs).
With the beginning of the new January-June Mini Catalogue I sent out my catalogues to the customers that have shopped with me in the last 12 months. I created cards to send with the catalogues using some new products. I love the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and matching stamp set. I cut the DSP into 9.5cmx13.85cm pieces (6 from 1 sheet) I used Basic Black as the layer in between but before I stuck this down I cut out the black frame layer to save on card stock. I then used a retired punch for the white circle but you can use the circle framelits to cut out a circle that would work too.
Last month we had our team Christmas Party and we have the opportunity to be in a Secret Santa gift. We make up a gift and include $20 worth of Stampin’ Up! product as well all current. I struggled with this as I was quite short on time and I didn’t have any ideas at all. So onto the pinterest & youtube search I went. I found the set of drawers on Intertwyne Designs and loved them. They were fairly simple to put together. The bag was something I created to fit the drawers. The last item was an Impossible Popper Box by The Paper Pixie. I love this little box but I did struggle to put it together the first time around. I really need to learn to read instructions better 🙂
I used the Let is snow DSP as it was one of my favourites from the Holiday catalogue.
