I’m excited to be sharing this Blossoms in Bloom Stepped Up card today. Starting by inking up the blossoms stamp in So Saffron Ink and then using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Write marker I added some colour to the edge of the stamp. I then overlayed the die cut blossoms from the Many Layered Blossoms dies using my Fine Tip Glue.
I have created a video for you to have a look and see how I have made this card. I’m very new to making videos but I wanted to share how I’ve created these cards.
Let me know what you think and share your projects with me.
Today I want to share with you Simple Stamping with ‘Blossoms in Bloom’ stamp set. I’ve had a really good play with this stamp set and just love it. I have a couple of lovely techniques coming up later this week to share with you.
The Blossoms in Bloom Stamp set shows a lovely water colour effect but I wanted to add some extra colour on the petals when I stamps the large floral pattern. Inking up with Blushing Bride and then using the Melon Mambo marker to add some darker colour onto the outsides of the petal. Then I stamped the centre dots in Melon Mambo ink.
I layered onto Magenta Madness Card stock which is one of the new In Colors for 2020-2022. I can’t wait to get my hands on the New In Color inks and hopefully they will arrive this week.
I hope you liked seeing my Simple Stamping with ‘Blossoms in Bloom’ Stamp Set and hope I have inspired you to get creating.

I created these cards using the new In Colors. I love how they turned out. You can see the Stampin’ Up! Blossoms in Bloom Bundle on page 51 in the new Annual Catalogue. If you don’t have your copy yet, then get in contact with me and I can pop one in the post for you. There is a small charge for the postage. However, those that have shopped with me over the past 12 months would have received their copy already.
Using the Many Layered Blossoms Dies I cut out both of the large floral elements, the outline in the In Colours and then cut out the other floral element in Whisper White. Layering Vellum on the card base and then stuck the two floral elements together and layered them over the Vellum.
