August Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #33

Welcome to the August Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #33. You may have joined me from Elizabeth’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a colour challenge. Initially I didn’t have any idea what I was going to create but after playing with a Sale-a-bration stamp set today, the card came together really quickly. The new Sale-a-bration Stamp set “Textures & Frames” which you can earn for FREE with a $90 purchase. I paired this set with the “Enjoy the Moment” stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.

We needed to use 3 of the new In Colors from the Annual Catalogue, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen. I chose to use the Tuxedo Black ink for the seed pod. Layering it onto a piece of Evening Evergreen and then onto a piece of Whisper White Thick card stock.

April Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #29

Welcome to the April Stampers Anonymous Team BlogHop #29. You may have joined me from Kylie’s Blog or you may have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is to create a Fancy Fold card. This month I wanted to create a card that had a number of elements within the card and so I went for a little search on the interwebs and stumbled across this one from Simply Simple Stamping. I like that there are a number of elements to this fancy fold card. And generally with a fancy fold card there is a limited amount of space to write your message and have it not be seen before you open it. However, with the extra panel there is a lot of space to write.

Don’t you think the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper is absolutely stunninng? I knew I had to use these papers as I just love the colours. What paper would you choose if you were to make this card?

Here is a view from the top of the card so you can see all the different folds within the card.

Berry Delightful Stamp a Stack

Today I wish to share with you a lovely set of cards using the Berry Delightful patterned paper as my first Stamp a stack class for the year.

Last night I was having a crafting session with some of my team and I was inspired by my upline Marelle and her gorgeous cards from a couple of years ago which you can see here.

I wanted to use something current for my upcoming class on the 11th & 12th February and so I chose the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Berry Blessings stamp set which you can earn for FREE with a $180 purchase till the end of Febuary during Sale-a-bration. Using some coordinating colours from the patterned paper I used Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Pacific Point & Granny Apple Green. Cutting out some of the images to go beside the sentiment and then stamping the other images and fussy cutting them out. This is a lovely fancy fold card and I’d love for you to join me at one of my classes in February.

You can see some more of the wonderful papers that you can earn for free with a $90 purchase during Sale-a-bration here.

Floating & Fluttering Bundle

The Floating & Fluttering Bundle is such a gorgeous set of products that you would love to play with it. I started by stamping the butterflies in the corresponding colour on a piece of Basic White Card. Then I stamped the butterflies in Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap piece of Basic White. After stamping the butterflies in tuxedo black on some scrap paper and then using the blending brushes I coloured in butterflies with each colour. Using the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine and the Fluttering Dies to cut out the butterflies. I then hand cut the butterflies from each other so I could pop them up on dimensionals like their popping off the page. Using the Tailored Tag Punch I layered the sentiment onto black. I had to cut the white card down slightly so that I would have a slim border of black around the outside of it.

Using the current in colours that will be retiring in June I wanted to share how lovely they are. I love the simplicity of colours on the card, only White, Black and the In color.

Flowers for Every Season OSW

Today’s cards that I want to share with you are again from the Flowers for Every Season OSW (One Sheet Wonder) like these cards from my post on the 8th January. I used a very very different sheet of the 6×6 dsp but I can assure you it is from the exact same pack. Again this One Sheet Wonder is originally from a fellow Aussie Demo Kelly Kent in WA.

I hope you’ll forgive me as I did send one of the cards to a dear friend so I don’t have all 4 cards. This One Sheet Wonder does really make the designer paper the centre of attention.

If you’d like to see more of the One Sheet Wonder cards that I have made you can see some here. Tropical Oasis, Using up DSP and I created my own DSP in this post. I would love to see some of your creations using a One sheet wonder template.
