Signs of Santa

This month I have been preparing a class for a customer and her guests and she asked for the Signs of Santa Stamp set & dies. I didn’t have them at the time so of course I needed to purchase them. Any excuse to purchase new product 🙂

I went searching for some inspiration and came across Stampin with Sandi and her Mass Producible cards using the Signs of Santa suite of products. I loved the cards right away and so made up the 4 samples that she shared. I changed up the bakers twine on two of them and haven’t included the snowflakes but everything else is the same. I just love how she has created them.
Here are my cards below. I hope my customer and her guests are going to love these.

I didn’t feel I had enough Santa’s in the pack of dsp to cut for everyone so we’ll be stamping him and colouring him in with markers.

I have listed all the supplies below, so if you love these cards as much as I do and want to make your own, check out the products in this suite on pages 18-21 in the current Holiday Catalogue. You can also click on any of the products below to be taken directly to my online store and purchase all your Christmas card making products now.

Beautiful Baubles

I have been creating some cards for a customer and her guests to make at her stamp a stack workshop. Most of these ladies know how to stamp and want to come away with cards that they can send out. So I try to make up some different types of cards with a couple of techniques or tools to use to help with the process of making cards to send their friends and family.

I fell in love with the Beautiful Baubles stamp set and I was lucky enough to receive it as a gift from my upline as a thank you for presenting at our team retreat in August. I needed some inspiration, however, so off I go to find some inspiration on Pinterest and I came across Sam Hammonds babywipe technique. I do love the babywipe technique as it is lots of fun and looks different everytime.

I did change up her card design by layering it onto a Pool Party card base but raising the bauble onto a silver scallop. I nixed the rhinestones and left it fairly simple.

I created another card with the same technique but this time rotated the card to be in Portrait and stamped a different sentiment straight onto the card base. I really like the simplicity of this design.

Kids Holiday Class

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today.

School has just resumed this week for term 4 and the last term of Primary school for my oldest daughter.

During the holidays though I held a couple of classes for children.  The kids love my classes and I love seeing the kids being creative.  In my first class the kids made 3 cards and decorated a box.

The box originally held stock for my husbands install work but I was able to cover it and be able to add it to my class.  I covered it in Designer Paper and then I sealed it with some Mod Podge.  The kids were then able to cut out their letters and stick them on using dimensionals. The offset the letters slightly to give a shadow effect.  My youngest daughter helped each of the girls with their letters.  It was great to have the extra helping hand.

I was so very happy with the result.

The cards were fairly simple and we used the Wishing You Well Stamp set from the holiday catalogue.  I used Gold thread to add some extra interest to each of the cards.  These card are from the catalogue so I just copied the design and had a class ready to go.  The catalogues are a great source of inspiration.

I hold classes most school holidays so if you think your child would be interested and you live in Sydney Australia then contact me or like my Facebook page and I can let you know when my next classes will be on.

And if you’d like to purchase any of the products that I used in the class then click on any of the items below to be taken directly to my online shop.
