Forever Fern meets Simple Stamping today on my blog. This card is super simple to create with products you have already in your stash, once you add the Forever Fern stamp set.
I started off wanting to use a colour from each of the current In Colors that Stampin’ Up! have in their range right now. I chose the two greens within each collection which led me to Just Jade and Pretty Peacock. Stamping in Pretty Peacock ink with some of the ferns I then added some Bumblebee card as an accent and to cover up the end of the stems. The scrap piece was sitting on my desk at the time which made it an easy choice to use.
Adding the ‘Hello’ in Tuxedo Black Memento and the stamping is done. I layered Basic Black card onto the Just Jade card base and then realised that the whisper white was too long so rather than grabbing out my trimmer I chose to tear off the bottom. What do you think? Do the colours work? Forever Fern meets Simple Stamping – I must say the three colours have grown on my over the time.
What do you get when you combine lush greenery with gold accents? All the supplies you need for your creations! And the dies and embossing folders in this suite fit in the portable Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, that will be coming out later this year. The Forever Greenery Suite is available to purchase now. In the recent Team Blog Hop I showcased the Forever Fern stamp set.
The Forever Greenery Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up! features watercolour patterns and images in a glorious array of green hues. The Forever Greenery Suite Collection includes so many gorgeous products including the Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set, matching Patterned paper and Laser Cut specialty paper, Gold Hoops, Trim, embossing folders and dies.

All week long I’m sharing this gorgeous stamp and die set with you. With the New Annual Catalogue being released there are so many lovely products to get your hands one and this is just one of them. I had this picture in my mind of what I wanted to create and it was the Blossoms in Bloom Baby Wipe Technique. Its an old technique but still so fun to create.
I started by creating an ink palette with my reinkers and and cloth. I don’t have baby wipes in my home so used the next best thing.
You can see some more details in the video along with a mistake I made while I was making the card. Good thing card stock comes with two sides.
I’m excited to be sharing this Blossoms in Bloom Stepped Up card today. Starting by inking up the blossoms stamp in So Saffron Ink and then using my Mango Melody Stampin’ Write marker I added some colour to the edge of the stamp. I then overlayed the die cut blossoms from the Many Layered Blossoms dies using my Fine Tip Glue.
I have created a video for you to have a look and see how I have made this card. I’m very new to making videos but I wanted to share how I’ve created these cards.
Let me know what you think and share your projects with me.
