Dragonfly Garden

The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is found in the Dandy Garden Suite and is so lovely that you will get so much inspiration from it and will want to snap it up in no time. I have used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle of the stamp set and punch and also used the Dandy Garden 6×6 DSP. These were designed by the Stampin’ Up! team and I enjoyed making these cards. Using all the same products and sized card stock pieces for each card. We’ve just flipped the layout. On these cards we have also used the Ladybug Trinkets and used the Mini Glue Dots to keep them affixed to the card.

Hydrangea Hill

Today I wanted to share a very very simple card using the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. One of the sheets of patterned paper has hydrangeas on one side and the other almost like a face off. So I cut the sheet in half between the flowers and then cut the 6×12″ sheet into 3 to created these three cards. It is so easy and quick to make these cards especially if you are in a hurry. I do love simple cards and this card from this post is another simple card

A very simple Sentiment added to the top of the card finishes it off.

August Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #21

Welcome to the August Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #21. You may have joined me from Kylie Page’s Blog or you have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a colour challenge. We had to use at least 2 colours but I chose to use all of the 2020-2022 In Colors of Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Bumble Bee, Just Jade & Cinnamon Cider. I chose to showcase the Mountrain Air photopolymer stamp set.

Then I chose to pull out my Sponge Brayers for this card to create a sunset. The Lovely You stamp set has some lovey sentiments to choose from. I used a Misty Moonlight card base and then layered onto Basic Black.

Simply Citrus Card Kit By Stampin’ Up!

From the 2020 Beginner brochure introduces the SIMPLY CITRUS CARD KIT. This stunning kit by Stampin’ Up! is a great way to get started making your own cards. The kit makes 15 cards (3 each of 5 designs). 16 printed envelopes (8 each of 2 designs).

A few of the other things this kit contains is 10 yards of Calypso Coral and white Baker’s Twine, 60 vellum die cut flowers and it is all contained in a super cute printed cardboard box. The colors used in this kit are Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Just Jade, Garden Green, Night of Navy and white.

Simply Citrus All Inclusive Card Kit has enough supplies to create 15 cards. The all inclusive kit includes instrucitons and are one of the simplest ways to get started with Stampin’ Up! Try one and see how easy it is!

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #20

Welcome to the July Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #20. You may have joined me from Melissa’s Blog or you have started here. This month’s Blog Hop is a layout challenge. I chose to showcase the World of Good Suite of products that I shared with you on Sunday.

As the World of Good Suite has Misty Moonlight as one of its main colours I started with a Misty Moonlight card base and knew what I was wanting to stamp. I pulled out the World of Good Speciality Designer Series Paper and chose the pattern I wanted to add underneath. That led me to sponging in Cinnamon Cider ink and stamping the quill in cinnamon cider onto cinnamon cider card stock. I added the sentiment on the right side above the quill and I was very happy with the layout.

I started sponging the background and then using my brand new water painters, I dragged some of the Misty Moonlight ink around the globe. Amazing how beautiful and packed full of coordinating products the WORLD OF GOOD SUITE in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog is. The Beautiful World cling stamp set has globe imagery and sentiments that have to do with adventure. The sentiments are designed to work on the outside and the inside of your card project. The World Map dies cut out the imagery from the stamp set.

The World of Good Specialty DSP has a 16th Century map style feel with gold foiling. The star maps on the DSP represent both Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
