This month’s blog hop is a colour challenge. The colours are Moody Mauve, Pecan Pie & Lost Lagoon. Originally when I heard what the colours were I wasn’t keen on doing the hop but then once I thought some more I loved them together. I chose to use the Sending Smiles Stamp set and coordinating dies. And I have to say they are divine and the colours are divine too. This month’s blog hop is a layout challenge. I was running out of time to get creating but I was able to carve out a bit of time on Wednesday and have created these two cards. The first card is using a circle as the image displays but the second card I changed up the shape. I am loving these papers. They are the “Hello, Irresistible” designer series papers that are available on the Online Exclusives collection. Pairing the papers with the Timeless Charm stamp set and I think you have a great match.

June Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #55

This past weekend we have had a long weekend and so I have had the opportunity to clean up my craft desk and get some creating done.

This months blog hop is a colour challenge. We were given two colours and could then choose our third colour to create with. The two colours are Flirty Flamingo & Starry Sky. I then chose Lemon Lolly to be my third colour.

Crafting with You Bundle and a colour challanege

I wanted to create with the “Crafting with You” bundle and I loved playing with this bundle. Stampin’ Up! have created such a great set for us crafters. The trimmer die is just so lovely but I chose not to use it on this card.

May Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #54

I have been a bit AWOL the last couple of months for these Blog Hops. I’ve had a bit too much on. Unfortunately, the blog hop was the thing I needed to let go of. And so I could give more time to things like my Retreat in April and my Creative Escape March.

But I am now back again and this was a great challenge to take part in as it is an Anything Goes Challenge. This provides me open to use absolutely anything I want so I chose to play with the Beauty of the Deep Bundle and the Waves of Inspiration stamp Set & coordinating Waves Dies. All of these products are found in the new Annual Catalogue that was released only 12 days ago.

My Cards

This first card was inspired by one of my amazing downlines, Elizabeth. She created a card with this layout using the By the Bay suite. I love this layout so recreated it using the Beauty of the Deep Bundle along with the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Papers.

My next card is using the Waves of Inspiration Stamp set and the Waves Dies. I have incorporated the Painted Texture Embossing folder. I am thankful that this embossing folder carried over into the new catalogue. The water is created by using the wave image upside down. I then have used my blending brush to add ink to the “Sky” above the water.

This months Blog Hop is a TicTacToe Challenge. The idea is that you choose a row whether it is horizontal, vertical or diagonal and you create a card with those three elements. The elements that I chose were Ribbon, Sparkle & Dies – straight down the left side of the table.

This months Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. I found this colour combination fairly quick and easy to use. With Christmas around the corner I knew I needed to create some quick and simple gift card holders and I wanted the card to be fairly simple. I saw one card I had made recently and decided to use the same stamps and layout.

This months Blog Hop is a Layout Challenge. I started creating a card for this challenge but really didn’t like what I came up with so I went back to the drawing board and created another card which I love.

Starting with the Sun Prints DSP and then choosing the coordinating Nature’s Prints Stamp Set, I was ready to create.

Taking a step away from Christmas and creating this card was a lovely change for me at this time of the year.
