So Hoppy Together

The So Hoppy Together Stamp set is one you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration. It is such a cute stamp set with three frogs. I coloured my frog using the Stampin’ Blends and layered him onto Black card stock and then onto the Gingham Gala Designer Series paper.

I used the “Happy Birthday” from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and then used my paper snips to cut a banner.

I have used the Lemon Lime Twist with the large checks on this card.
This card I used the Daffodil Delight and the small checks.

You can earn this stamp set with a purchase of $90 (without shipping) from Stampin’ Up!

November/December Customer Thank you Cards

Welcome to 2019! Happy New Year to you and your family.

I always like to send a thank you card to my customers that buy from me and here is the card I made for November/December customers.

I used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series paper that you can earn from 3rd January during Sale-a-bration when you spend $90.  I used the stamp set Butterfly Gala and the Butterfly Duet Punch.  The original design was by Kylie Bertucci and her Love it Chop it.  The theory behind it is, if you have designer paper you need to chop it and use.  This is a great way to use up some dsp.  You can make 6 cards from 1 12×12 piece of DSP.

I stamped the inside of the card with a simple Thank you from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.

Teacher Thank you Cards

Every year my girls class give a gift to their teachers and this year was no different.  I offered to make the thank you cards for each of the teachers and this is what I made.  I used the Daisy Delight stamp set and created a 5″x5″ card for each of them.  I had some square envelopes left over from a wedding some years ago and so wanted to utilise these for the cards.

This is one of the cards that I made for one of the teachers.  I used Blackberry Bliss as the colour base.  For the center of the flower I used wink of Stella to add some shimmer.

50th Birthday Card

My brother turned 50 this month and we had a family dinner celebrating.  With a big Birthday like this I wanted to make a special birthday card for him.  So I pulled out some of the new products that are being released in the new Occasions Catalogue and made this card.

I used Basic Gray as my card base and then layered Basic Black on top and some new Designer Series Paper on top. This paper is the new Classic Garage paper stack.  I used the retired Large Numbers Framelits and embossed them to add some extra detail.  I used the foil sheets for the numbers as well and with the heat from the heat tool it melted some of the foil and that’s how you get the look of the white and smoky slate.
The cogs were all cut out using the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies and I have used the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.  You can earn this foil for FREE with an order of $90 from January 3rd, 2019.

I stamped on the envelope to match it in with the card and I added an insert in the card to write on and stamped some images on the insert as well.  I really love how the card turned out and my brother liked the card too.  His wife makes cards and so he understands that a bit of time would have gone into making this card for him.

12 Days of Christmas Day 12

Welcome to my final day of the 12 Days of Christmas Series and a very Merry Christmas to you all on Christmas Day.  My plan was never to finish on Christmas day but that is what happens when I get too busy to craft.  Next year I really need to have all my projects ready to go before I even start my series.

This project I saw on another demonstrators page and so wanted to make it for my final project.  I love making Christmas decorations and home decor items and this bauble is no exception.

You can watch the talented Vanessa Webb as she shares how to make this bauble.  I love how easy these are to put together.
