Room Mate Gifts OnStage

As OnStage was on the Gold Coast this year we needed to travel and find accommodation.  I booked some accommodation for 4 and had 3 amazing fellow demos staying with me including one of my fabulous downlines.

I wanted to make them feel special so I made a little gift for them.  I used the Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper to make a hot chocolate pouch.

I have included a video for you showcasing the gorgeous products in the Year of Cheer Suite

CentreStage Gold Coast

Last night I had the privilege of attending CentreStage which is a managers only event. This was only my second time attending,
It was a lovely night where we were able to see the new catalogue and products and receive some extra thank you gifts from Stampin’ Up!

I am unable to show very much at this point on what’s coming. You’ll need to have some patience.

My husband is at home holding the fort for me while I’m away and I’m very thankful for such a supportive husband.
While I was at the dinner, I sent him a couple of texts of my meal. He in turn sent photos of his meal.

Here is what I sent him…

And this is what he sent back to me…

It was a lovely night. If you’d like to join my team and have the opportunity to attend CentreStage then sign up with my ProCRAFTinators Team and you too could be spoilt like we were last night.

Children’s Craft Course

Starting today I am holding a Children’s Craft Course in my home. The course is for 7 weeks and will, hopefully, help the the children to be able to work with colours more confidently in the future.

They are going to be making a 6″ x 8″ Scrapbook Album, 8 Christmas cards with envelopes and 2 Christmas Rosette Ornaments.

I have a maximum class size of 6 students as I want to be able to give each student the attention and help that they may need.

I’m really looking forward to the classes each week and hope that each of the children will be more confident in colours and being creative.

Below is what they’ll be creating.

And here is the kit that they’ll receive.

If you’d like to purchase any of these products, you can shop for them online at my shop and have them delivered straight to your door.

World Card Making Day

We didn’t come up with World Card Making Day, but we are thrilled that it’s a thing! It’s a day dedicated to doing what you love most—making handmade cards! It celebrates the creativity and personal connection handmade cards create between loved ones, and it’s a great time to make your own cards to send to your family and friends.

This year the world celebrates the day on 7 October, but one day wasn’t enough for us. For ten days (1–10 October), you get 15% off Notecards & Envelopes and select stamp sets. Also, when you buy Fast Fuse Adhesive, you’ll get two refills for FREE! These items will help you celebrate the best hobby of all—cardmaking!

Watercolour Christmas Project Kit

The Watercolor Christmas Project Kit is in the new Holiday Catalogue and has the materials to make 20 cards, 5 each of 4 designs. There is a matching stamp set to go with this kit, Watercolor Christmas.

I haven’t yet purchased the Watercolor Christmas Stamp set  and so I wanted to see if I could use a different stamp set for the sentiments as a substitute.  After all, sometimes we have our favourite sentiments that we want to use.  I used the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set instead and loved how the cards turned out. You could also use the Oh, What Fun stamp set as well and really any other sentiment stamp set that you own.  The Watercolour Christmas Project Kit is really quite versatile and you can adapt any stamp set that you wish.

Below is a video produced by Stampin’ Up! on the kit and how to assemble the cards.

And finally I have included a video by a US demonstrator, Rachel Tessman from Stamp your Art Out, that explains how you can create double the cards from one kit.
