Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop Sketch Challenge #1

Thank you for joining us for our first Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop!

The challenge has been set by Nikki Stalker and here is the sketch we are to work with.  The inspiration for this sketch is from  page 97 of the Annual Catalogue.

Here is the card that I made for the blog hop.  I used the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set which is only available till the end of November or while supplies last.  I used the colours in the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper as my inspiration.  If you love this paper I would suggest you purchase it as soon as possible as its been very popular and has sold out overseas and will sell out here too and once its sold out its gone.

If you get out of order you can click on the links below to get to get back onto the blog hop.

His 60th Birthday Card

One of my good customers Husband had a big birthday the other week and so I made him this card.

Unfortunately the stamp set isn’t available anymore but I just couldn’t let it go yet and I’m thankful that I didn’t sell it.  I also used the numbers which are also retired and no longer available to purchase.

I used the Black Foil Sheets and embossed it with the woodgrain embossing folder.

Stampers Anonymous Team Swap

This week is Stampin’ Up!’s Onstage events around the world.  The Live event is in Orlando Florida but I am going to a local event in Melbourne.

This year I am participating in a Team Swap.  We’re all making 25 cards and swapping them with those that wanted to participate.  We will meet during lunch time on Saturday and swap and hopefully get a team photo with all our team shirts on.

Here is the swap that I made.  I love how it turned out.  I used the Stamparatus to get the baubles all lined up and added some sparkle from a spritz bottle.  I used Bermuda Bay card stock for the base and ink and added in some Coastal Cabana Card & Basic Black card.   Before I stuck everything down I punched out the tailored Tag punch from the Coastal Cabana twice.  This is a great way to save on some costs as no one will see where you punched out.  I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White and layered them and popped them up on dimensionals.

Customer Thank You Cards for September & October

I love to make thank you cards for my customers as I really appreciate everyone that comes shopping with me. So with that in mind I made this gorgeous cards using the new stamp set Happiness Surrounds which is only available during the month of November or while stocks last. This stamp set can be used for so many occasions and if you just change up a sentiment you can add so many more cards.

I was inspired by a card that Connie Collins from Constantly Stamping made during the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop.  I was at my team leaders house having a stamping day and so only had very limited supplies with me, though I could have used my team leaders ink too, I liked that I made this with only a couple of colours.

Hers 60th Birthday Card

I have a customer that recently had a BIG birthday. She turned 60 so I made her a special card.

I have kept this card very simple and used Thick Whisper White Card as my base then used the subtle embossing folder on the Whisper white layer. I used the Petals & More Thinlits dies for the leaves and cut some to add a bit more texture.

The ribbon is gorgeous Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8″ Reversible Ribbon. I just love this ribbon and how it looks on this card.
